Perfect Dark 2004

XBLA Perfect Dark giving hopes!

I've been playing a lot of Perfect dark on XBLA lately and it made me want to continue/finish/updates my maps. The only thing I need is a textures pack from the XBLA version to be able to release higher quality maps :)

If you have or know someone who has them, I'd really appreciate them!

I've completed the last hangar room and as I said on the UT2004 forums (check links to the right), I've also added a little special and unique touch to that room. Since I decided to keep this part secret until release, I won't be posting any screenshots tonight even if a big part of the map as been done.

You can use your imagination to figure out what I added to the map but you'll only see if you were thinking right or not once it's released.

The Stack part of Library is almost done, I only have a few corridors along with 3 smaller rooms to complete so I should be able to finish the top part within next weekend and start on the basement.

For the maps, I finished up the windows room. I might make some changes later on but I don't plan on anything for now. Here are the screenshots for tonight!

I've started the Windows room earlier today,I should be done in that part next time I work on the map. Here are today's screenshots (including last night's work)

I've realized by testing my map a little bit that the ceilings were actually too low and that the corridors weren't large enough so it was a bit too tight for playing around. I've had to lower down the main floor and extend a bit the top level along with make the corridors wider. After that has been done, I've started to move on other parts of the map. I've completed the bottom corridor connecting the 2 rooms and I'm soon going to start the windows room.

I should be able to work on those this weekend since I've been feeling a better for the 1st day since the start of this week. Sorry no screenshots tonight (since no big thing changed that is visually noticable). More will hopefully come later this weekend!

I haven't been feeling well in the last days so I didn't map much. I'll try to continue on the map as soon as I feel a bit better.

Here are the updates of the PD-Library map that I did last night. The 1st room is completed along with lights, decorations (yay crates) and even started adding the doors.

I'll be working on the next room pretty soon, in the meantime... enjoy the screenshots!

Today I finally decided to create a blog for the Perfect Dark / Goldeneye maps I'm making for Unreal Tournament 2004. In here, you will be able to see the most up to date informations about the map(s) I'm currently working on. I'll try to keep this blog updated the best I can.

You can also watch up the progress on this thread http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=574821 on the official forums, but I might update it less often if people start to look more over here :)
